This assignment is due April 4th. This week's reading is, Cells Phones and Safe Driving. It can be found on pages 504-507. Please read and then answer the following questions.

• What is the main idea of this article?


• What type of evidence does the author use to make his points?


• How are reactions of drunk drivers different from the reactions of drivers using cell phones?


• Are you one of those people who talk on their phone while driving?

Blog Assignment #4

I know this is break, but this is due Thursday, March 22nd the latest. The next topic is one that is near and dear to your hearts, Texting and Its Adverse Effects, Txting Away UR Education. This is on pages 494-496. Please read and answer the following questions.

1. What is the main point of this reading?


2. According to the article, what are the negative effects of texting?


3. What kinds of restrictions(if any) do you think schools(including NYIT) should place on the use of electronic devices? Write a paragraph explaining your answers.


4. Do you think texting has adversely affected your life?
